You can deactivate the Nvidia Geforce Experience in-game overlay at any time if you don't need it. Alternatively, only the notification when the game starts can be switched off. We'll show you how to best do both.
Disable Nvidia Geforce Experience in-game overlay
Open the in-game overlay of Geforce Experience in every game with the key combination [Alt] + [Z]. You can use this, for example, to take screenshots and stream your current gameplay. If you do not need these functions, you can deactivate the overlay.
- Start Nvidia Geforce Experience on your PC.
- Click on the gear icon in the top right to open the settings.
- Then deactivate the overlay in the "In-game overlay" section using the slider (see screenshot).
Geforce Experience: Disable overlay notifications
If you do not want to switch off the in-game overlay and its functions completely, you can only deactivate the in-game notifications.
- To do this, open Geforce Experience and click the gear icon in the top left.
- Under "In-game overlay" click "Settings".
- Then select the "Notifications" item.
- Deactivate all entries there for which you do not want to be notified via overlay and then click on "Done".
