Update Nvidia graphics card driver
If you want to update the Nvidia graphics card driver on your PC, you can do this automatically via Windows as well as manually. We'll show you exactly how to do it.
Manually update the Nvidia graphics card driver
- Open the following Nvidia website to access the graphics card drivers.
- Do you know which graphics card is installed, enter the requested information and click on "Search". The current driver is installed using the "Download now" button.
- If you have no idea about your graphics card, simply select the gray "Graphics driver" button. If you click on the "Install plug-in" button above, Nvidia analyzes your version of Nvidia via Java. You will then be offered the appropriate download.
Update Nvidia graphics card driver via Windows
- Press the [Windows] and [R] keys simultaneously so that the "Execute" command opens.
- Enter "devmgmt.msc" here and confirm with "OK". Then the bone manager starts.
- You will now find your Nvidia graphics card under the "Graphics card" category. Select it with the mouse.
- Right-click the entry and select the "Update Driver Software" option.
- Windows starts the search with the "Automatically search for current driver software" function. If an update is found, it will be installed.
