nVidia control panel is missing - you can do that
If you are missing the nVidia control panel, there can be several reasons. In this practical tip, we will explain what this can be and how you can solve this problem.
Show hidden icons - nVidia control panel is missing
Windows hides some taskbar icons to save space and keep the taskbar clear. It may be that the icon for the nVidia control panel is hidden and is therefore not currently displayed.
- Switch to your desktop.
- Click on the small arrow pointing upwards in the lower right corner of the task bar.
- Then all symbols are displayed. Find the nVidia icon and select it.
- Now the nVidia control panel should open.
Reinstall the nVidia driver
Another reason why the nVidia Control Panel is not displayed can be a faulty or missing driver. To update the driver, proceed as follows:
- First, check which graphics card model you have.
- Download the appropriate driver.
- Enter your model and then click "Download Now".
- After downloading, go to your download directory and install the driver.
- After successful installation, the nVidia system control icon should be available again.
