Cancel O2 mobile phone insurance - how it works
If you no longer wish to use O2 mobile phone insurance, you can cancel the service at any time. We show you how to do this.
Mobile phone insurance at O2: the notice period
- O2 mobile phone insurance is provided by Telefónica Insurance SA You cannot cancel your insurance directly through O2.
- The minimum term of the insurance is 24 months. The contract then continues for up to three years, unless you terminate it.
- After the 24 months have passed, you can terminate the contract on a monthly basis. The notice period is then 30 days.
- Alternatively, get out of the contract earlier if you sell your smartphone. To do this, however, you must attach written proof to the termination.
Cancel mobile phone insurance from O2
- You can cancel your mobile phone insurance with a simple letter to O2. It is best to use the following notice template.
- Send the completed notice of termination to " ". Alternatively, you can fax the cancellation to 089 70 80 92 75.
