If you no longer need your second SIM cards from o2, you can cancel and deactivate the multicards. We explain exactly how to do it.
Cancel and deactivate multicard at o2
Depending on the o2 contract, you can activate and use up to 10 multicards. If you no longer need the second SIMs, you must cancel each card individually. The process is free and works easiest via your o2 account:
- To do this, open this website from o2 and log in with your account data.
- In the "SIM services for individual cards" section, select the SIM card that you want to deactivate.
- Then click on the "Deactivate SIM card" entry below.
- In the next step, check all the data on the SIM card again so that you also cancel the correct multicard. Confirm your selection with "Next".
- As soon as your multicard is deactivated, you will receive a confirmation via SMS.
- Note: If the Multicard is canceled, the main SIM card also loses some of its connection to the o2 network. In this case, restart the cell phone with the main SIM so that the device logs into the cell phone network again.
