O2 router: change WLAN key - so it'll work
If you want to change your WLAN key on your o2 router, we will show you how to do this in this practical tip.
Change WLAN key for o2 & Alice routers - this is how you have to proceed
- Call up the address "192.168.1.1" in your browser and enter your password if necessary.
- Click on "Home Network" in the menu on the left and then on "WLAN".
- The pre-installed WLAN key is in the "WPA key between 8 and 63 characters:" field. Delete this from the field and enter your personal key there. This should contain at least 8 and at most 63 characters and consist of upper and lower case letters and numbers.
- As soon as you are finished, apply the settings by clicking on "Save". Please note that you have to set the new password on all of your WiFi devices.
