The dissolution of the Oculus Rift
- The Oculus Rift CV1 (Consumer Version 1) is the latest version of the VR glasses. It has two OLED displays with a resolution of 1, 080 x 1, 200 pixels each - this results in a total resolution of 2, 160 x 1, 200 pixels.
- The Development Kit 1 of the Oculus Rift has only one display. Its resolution is 1, 280 x 800 pixels, which corresponds to a resolution of 640 x 800 pixels per eye.
- In Development Kit 2, the display has a resolution of 1, 920 × 1, 080 pixels, so each eye sees 960 × 1, 080 pixels.
