• The Oculus Rift has been available for pre-order since January 6, 2016. The price in Germany is 699 euros, plus an additional 42 euros for shipping.
• You can reserve a copy of the VR glasses in the Oculus online shop. However, the earliest delivery date for German customers was one day after the start of pre-orders in June 2016.
• In the Oculus shop you can pay by credit card or PayPal. Only one device can be ordered per customer.

(When) can you also buy the Oculus Rift from other dealers?

• The Oculus Rift will probably not be available from other retailers for the first few months. It is therefore also not foreseeable that the relatively expensive VR glasses will soon be cheaper to buy elsewhere.
• According to its own statements, Oculus makes almost no profit with the price of $ 599 or 699 euros. In addition, the product is subsidized by Facebook.
