Oculus Rift Release: when will the VR glasses come?

If you are eagerly awaiting the release of the VR glasses "Oculus Rift", you will have to be patient. We will show you when the new VR glasses will appear.

Update: Oculus Rift is coming in 2016

• You can pre-order VR glasses from Oculus since January 6th. However, it can take a few months before you hold the Oculus Rift in your hands.
• The earliest date for delivery to Germany is June 2016. According to the current status (March 2016), you will receive the VR glasses in July at the earliest.
• The Oculus Rift costs 699 euros including 42 euros shipping to Germany. Although this is quite expensive, according to their own statements, there is hardly any profit.

Oculus Rift: release of VR glasses

• The first developer versions of the Oculus Rift were released in 2013 and 2014. The original release date was scheduled for 2015, but has now been postponed.
• According to the current status, the Oculus Rift should appear in the first quarter of 2016. The release may also be delayed into the second quarter.
• Oculus will likely take pre-orders towards the end of 2015. How high the price of the glasses is is currently still unknown.
