Pre-order Oculus Rift
If you would like to receive the Oculus Rift as quickly as possible, you can pre-order the VR glasses from January 6, 2016. We show where that is possible and what price you can expect.
Pre-order Oculus Rift: price and performance
- The Oculus Rift can currently only be pre-ordered directly from the manufacturer. The price is 699 euros. There is also a further 42 euros for shipping from the USA.
- As a pre-order you will also receive the games "EVE: Valkyrie" and "Lucky's Tale" as well as an Xbox One controller and a remote control free of charge.
- Note that your PC must have comparatively sophisticated hardware. The Oculus Rift Compatibility Checker will tell you whether your computer has the right equipment.
- Deliveries of the Oculus Rift are scheduled to begin in late March 2016. The later you place an order, the longer you will likely have to wait for your package. Delivery in Germany was forecast for June 2016 just one day after the pre-order started.

- Open the Oculus website and click on "Rift" above.
- Via the button "Pre-order now" the VR glasses are placed in the shopping cart.
- Via the buttons "Checkout" and "Continue as guest" you will be forwarded to the payment process.
- Once you have entered your address details, you can either pay by PayPal or credit card.
- If you have successfully ordered the Oculus Rift, you will receive an email confirmation.
