Install OneDrive
The prerequisite for using OneDrive is - of course - installation on the desired devices.
- If you want to continue processing your documents from a Windows laptop or Mac on an Android tablet or iPad, you have to install the OneDrive application on all relevant devices.
Create a OneDrive account
To use the cloud storage and to synchronize the files between your devices, you need an account with OneDrive. The easiest way to create this is on your computer.
- Alternatively, you can also log in each time with a "one-time code", which is very cumbersome in the long run.
- All you need to create your account is any email address and a password. OneDrive will then send you a confirmation email with a link that you must click to verify your registration.
- That's it. OneDrive is now set up. Under MacOS as well as under Windows it is integrated into the folder directory as normal. Every file that you save from now on in the "OneDrive" folder is immediately available on all end devices that are linked to your OneDrive account.
