OneDrive: Upload folders - how it works
You can upload entire folders in OneDrive. This saves you time and effort. We will now show you how this works.
OneDrive: Upload Chrome and Microsoft Edge folders
With every browser, you do something differently when you upload folders to OneDrive. Here's how Chome and Edge cut it:
- Open OneDrive in Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome.
- Select "Upload". There click on "Folder.
- Now select the folder you want to upload.
- When you're done, click Upload.

- Open OneDrive in the browser you are using.
- Then select "New".
- Then click on "Folder". How to create a folder in OneDrive that you can name as you like.
- Select the files you want in the folder you want to upload. These will then be uploaded.
- Now move the files to the new folder you created on OneDrive.
