OneNote: Share your notebook
If you create a notebook in OneNote, you can also share it with other people. All you need is an account with Microsoft. With our instructions, you will then share your notebook with friends or colleagues.
OneNote: Share your notebook with OneNote 2013
Microsoft offers the OneNote 2013 note program from the Office Suite for free. Your notebook is automatically synchronized with the OneDrive cloud service. This means that nothing stands in the way of approval.
- Click on "FILE" in the menu bar and then on "Share".
- Under "Invite people" you can share your notebook with friends or use it for business purposes with "Share for meeting".
OneNote: Share the notebook using a web browser
If the software is not installed on your PC, you can also share the notebook with any web browser. To do this, you must first log in to Outlook.
- Then open the tile menu and click on "OneNote online". Then select the notebook you want to share.
- Click on "FILE" in the menu bar and select the "Share" menu item. By clicking on "Share with other people" you can now send your friends an invitation.
- In the "To" field, enter the recipient's email address. You can also define multiple recipients. Optionally, you can also send a note.
- Under "Recipients can edit elements" you define the access authorization. The recipient can either edit your notebook or just view it. You can also determine whether the recipient needs a Microsoft account.
- Alternatively, you can also generate a link to your release. To do this, go to "Get Link". The downside, however, is that anyone who has the link can access your notebook.
