Set up an online answering machine for free
You can set up an answering machine online free of charge if, for example, you do not want to reveal your personal telephone number to the public. Incoming calls are logged, the message is recorded and, if desired, sent to your email address.
Set up a free answering machine online
- At "Cospace.de" you can register for free and activate an answering machine for up to three numbers. The telephone numbers are numbers with area codes, which are assigned to you.
- After registering, click the arrow at the top right of your profile picture to open the drop-down menu.
- Select the settings and go to the "Numbers" section.
- With the button "Create a new phone number" you get a free phone number. You still have to confirm this by calling and entering the code shown.
- The answering machine is then automatically activated for this number.
Add announcement for online answering machine
- Record your announcement and cut and edit it with Audacity.
- Then save your recording as a WAV file via "File"> "Export".
- You can add the completed announcement using the microphone symbol in the left menu line at Cospace.
