OpenOffice Calc: calculate date difference - is that possible?
If you want to calculate the date difference in OpenOffice tables, we show you in this practical tip how to do it.
Calculate date difference in OpenOffice
- If you want to display the difference in days, you have to subtract the end date from the start date. Openoffice usually recognizes the numbers automatically as "date", otherwise you can correct them with a right click> "Format cells".
- If the start date is in column B1 and the end date in column C1, the formula is accordingly "= B1-C1".
- If you want to display the result (in column D1) in years, use the formula "= D1 / 365".
