OpenOffice Calc: Create dropdown menu
With a drop-down list, you can insert a wide variety of content into your cells in OpenOffice Calc. We'll show you how it's done.
OpenOffice Calc: Create dropdown list
- Click on the "Data" category at the top of the menu bar and select the "Validity" item.
- A small window now opens. Next to "Allow", select the "List" option.
- You should definitely activate the "Selection list" option. If you wish, you can also select "Allow empty cells" or "Sort entries in ascending order".
- Now enter all the entries in your dropdown list below. Each entry has its own paragraph here.
- Click the "OK" button to create the dropdown list. You will now find a small arrow to the right of the cell. There you can select a desired entry from the list.
