OpenOffice: Frame the document - how it works
Framing a text passage or an entire page of an OpenOffice document is not a big deal. If you know how it works, it will be quick and easy in the future.
Create a frame for an OpenOffice document
In the OpenOffice word processor, Writer, you can frame your documents with pretty frames with just a few clicks of the mouse:
- First click on the "Paste" option in the menu.
- Select "Frame" from the drop-down menu.
- In the new "Frame" menu, you will then have numerous options to customize your frame. This includes frame width, color, shadow, background color, text spacing and much more.
You can also create a nice effect if you write in a circle using OpenOffice Draw or write a few words vertically in Writer.
