OpenOffice: Enter the following arrow using the keyboard
In OpenOffice you can enter a follow-up arrow directly on the keyboard. All you have to do is define a character string, which is then always replaced by this symbol.
Enter the following arrow in OpenOffice using the keyboard
- Simply mark the "⇒" symbol in this article and copy it with the key combination CTRL + C. Alternatively, you can also look for the character under "Insert" and "Special characters".
- Open OpenOffice and paste the character on a blank page. Now mark the character again and select the "Auto correction settings" option under "Tools".
- Since you have previously selected the character, it is already in the "Replace with" text box. Under "Abbreviation" enter the character string to be replaced by the following arrow, for example "=>" or "==>". Then press "New" and close the window by clicking "OK".
- If you now type "=>" (without quotation marks) and press the Enter key, OpenOffice automatically replaces your string with the following arrow.
