OpenOffice: Show and hide formatting characters
In OpenOffice, the formatting character is also called control character. This is similar to an inverted P or the pi sign.
- In most cases you will find the formatting symbol at the top of the menu bar, near the help button and the magnifying glass symbol
- Alternatively, you can find the "Control characters" option under the "View" menu item.
- The formatting symbol is also shown and hidden using the key combination "Ctrl" + "F10".
