OpenOffice: create a handout - how it works
With OpenOffice you can quickly create a handout for your audience from your presentation. This saves you important time that you can invest in the preparation of your appearance. We'll show you how to do it here.
Create and print handouts with OpenOffice Impress presentation
Note: These instructions refer to OpenOffice 4.1.
- Open your presentation with OpenOffice.
- Click on "File" in the top left.
- Select "Print" from the menu.
- Now a new window opens with the print menu.
- At the bottom you will find the item "Document" and next to it a dropdown menu.
- By selecting the arrow, you can change the selection from "slide" to "handout".
- Under "Slides per page" you can now select how many slides should fit on a page.
- You can also specify which slides should appear on the handout under "Area and Copies".
- Finally, use the "OpenOffice Impress" tab to determine whether the handouts should be printed in color, in grayscale or in black and white.
