How to remove a header or footer in OpenOffice
If you have added too much a header or footer, you can remove the superfluous line. That's how it works:
- Click on "Insert" in the top bar.
- Now select "Header" or "Footer" - depending on which element you want to remove.
- Remove the check mark from "Standard" by tapping on it.
- Finally, confirm the warning with "OK".
