OpenOffice: Remove write protection in the document

If you open a document with write protection in OpenOffice, you cannot edit it for the time being. But you can easily remove this supposed protection. We'll explain exactly how this works here.
How to remove write protection in OpenOffice
- First open the read-only document in OpenOffice.
- Now click on the "Edit file" icon between "Document as email" and "Direct export as PDF".
- Now you can edit your OpenOffice document and then "save" it.
- Alternatively, you can save the file under a new name and edit this new document immediately.
