OpenOffice: Insert text modules
With text modules you can work even faster in OpenOffice. We show you how to create and insert them.
OpenOffice: Create and insert text modules
- Select a desired text and then click on the "AutoText" option under the "Edit" menu item.
- Enter a name and an abbreviation for the block here. The name helps you to organize numerous text modules, you need the abbreviation for entering the module.
- Then click on the "AutoText" button on the right and select the "New" option.
- If you close the window with the "Close" button, your text module will be saved.
- Now enter the abbreviation previously set at any position and then press the "F3" key. Now the abbreviation is automatically converted into the text module.
