In this practical tip, we explain how to insert a text field in OpenOffice.
Insert text field in OpenOffice
To insert a text field in OpenOffice, you must first show the toolbar:
- Open OpenOffice and open the toolbar (see gallery).
- A new toolbar opens at the bottom. Click on the text symbol.
- Now drag a text field into the document with the left mouse pointer. As soon as you let go of the mouse pointer, you can fill the box with writing.
- To edit the text field further, right-click on its frame.
