OpenOffice: Create text frames - how it works
With a text frame in OpenOffice you can frame all objects and create special layouts. We show you how this works in this practical tip.
Create text frames in OpenOffice
- First select the object in OpenOffice that you want to frame.
- Click on "Insert" in the menu bar and select "Frame".
- You can then make various frame settings here. Change under "Type" z. B. the height and width of the frame.
- Under "Type" in the "Position" area, specify whether the framed element should be positioned in the middle or flush.
- You can customize your frame design under the "Border" and "Background" tabs.
- In the "Columns" tab, you can divide the framed object into columns.
- Once you have selected all the settings, save the changes with "OK".
- If you want to change the created frame later, right-click on the frame object and select "Frame".
