OpenOffice Writer: Hide pictures - how it works
If you generally do not want to see pictures and graphics in the OpenOffice Writer, you can hide the objects using the settings. This way, the graphics are no longer displayed in your document. In this article, we will tell you exactly how to proceed.
Hide images and graphics in OpenOffice Writer
By default, the OpenOffice Writer shows all images and graphics in your text documents. You can hide them at any time with a little trick:
- Click on "Tools" at the top of the menu bar and select the "Settings" at the bottom.
- Go to the "OpenOffice Writer" category on the left and then to "View".
- Under the "View" group, disable the "Graphics and Objects" option.
- With the button "OK" your settings are saved and the images are no longer displayed.
- If you want to show the objects again, activate the "Graphics and objects" option in the same way.
