OpenOffice: Embed YouTube video - how it works
To make your presentation in OpenOffice more interesting, you can embed videos from YouTube in addition to images. The nice thing is that you can achieve this great effect with minimal effort.
Embed YouTube videos in OpenOffice
Open OpenOffice Impress for the following steps.
- Go to the slide where you want to embed the YouTube video. Select a slide layout in which you can insert different modules.
- Then click on the movie icon and look for the corresponding YouTube video. Double-click on the film or on the "Open" button to insert the video.
- Alternatively, you can also click on "Insert" in the menu bar and select "Film and Sound" in the drop-down menu.
- If you then want to watch the OpenOffice slide with the YouTube video, go to "Slide Show" in the menu bar and then select "Slide Show" again.
