With Opera you can call up your saved passwords in just a few steps. To do this, proceed as follows.
- Open Opera and click on the three lines at the top right to open the menu (see image: step 1).
- In the bottom section you will find the button "Go to browser settings". Select this (see picture: step 2).
- Click on "Advanced" on the left and then on "Privacy & Security".
- Now select the "Passwords" option under "Autofill".
- The "Offer password protection" function should be activated by default. If this is not the case, your Opera browser does not save any passwords.
- Under "Saved passwords" you can now view all saved passwords (see figure 3).
Read and save password information from all browsers
If you want to have your passwords from all browsers at a glance, we recommend this free tool:
- Download the free tool "WebBrowserPassView" and run the exe file.
- The tool automatically reads the passwords from all installed browsers.
- Mark individual passwords and save them with the key combination [Ctrl] + [S]. You can mark several passwords by holding down the [Ctrl] key. Mark all passwords with [Ctrl] + [A].
- The passwords are saved in a text file that you can view with any text editor.
