Sync Opera with Chrome - so it'll work
If you want to sync the Opera browser with Chrome, it's pretty easy. This practical tip tells you exactly how to do this.
Sync Opera with Google Chrome - you have to do that
- First of all you need the free tool Transmute.
- This allows you to synchronize the bookmarks between the two browsers.
- After starting the program, select the Opera browser above. Select Chrome accordingly in the field below.
- With a click on "Start" the bookmarks are synchronized.
Sync passwords from Opera and Chrome
Passwords can be synchronized with LastPass.
- First install the add-on in the Chrome browser so that the passwords stored there are synchronized.
- You can then also install the add-on in Opera. The reverse order is of course also possible.
- All you have to do now is log in with the previously created account and all your passwords will be synchronized.

Opera: Sync favorites and more
- If you want to synchronize further data from both browsers, such as favorites, you unfortunately have to switch to the paid version of the Transmute program.
- You can purchase the program on the manufacturer's website.
