Reset Opera completely
Unfortunately, Opera itself does not have a function to reset the settings.
- Therefore, click on the "Opera" button at the top right of the window and select the "Delete Internet tracks" option under the "Settings" category.
- Activate all points and click on delete. This solves most of the problems.
- To also delete the last settings, enter "opera: about" in the address bar of the browser at the top and confirm with [Enter].
- Under the "Files and Paths" category you will see several file paths. Copy the file paths from the "Settings" and from the "Profile directory".
- Open Windows Explorer with the key combination [Windows] + [E] and enter the first path in the address bar.
- Exit Opera and delete the files in the folder. Do the same for the second path.
- The next time you start Opera, the browser will be completely reset.
