Windows 10: folder with two blue arrows
A blue arrow next to a folder means that it has been compressed. The compression is mostly done for the whole drive to save space. You will not notice any impairments when working or gaming on the PC. If you want to remove the compression, do the following:
- Open "Computer" and then right-click on the drive or drive partition.
- Now select "Properties".
- Now you have to uncheck "Compress drive to save space".
- Next a new window appears in which you have to confirm this again.
- Now Windows starts to remove the compression. This can take an hour or two, depending on the size of the files. However, you can cancel the process at any time and start again later.
