Origin does not start - what to do?
The joy of the game session is suddenly reduced if Origin does not start. We'll show you how to get your games back.
Origin does not start - it may be because of it
There can be several reasons why the Origin client does not start.
- The Origin client has occasional problems with the resolution settings of the computer, especially if you use multiple monitors. Therefore, reduce the screen resolution (instructions: Windows 7 / Windows 8). When Origin reappears, you can go back to your regular resolution.
- If Origin still does not start, update your graphics card driver. It is possible that the client cannot be displayed correctly.
- Check that the Origin icon appears on your taskbar. In the lower right corner there is a small arrow, click on it and make sure that the logo is there. When you find the icon, right click it and choose "My Games".
- You can also check whether Origin is already running but is not displayed correctly. To do this, press [Ctrl] + [Shift] + [Esc] at the same time to open the Task Manager. Stop the Origin processes there and restart Origin.
- If none of these methods work, uninstall Origin and set it up again.
