OS X Mavericks: Mark the sender of an email as a VIP
Under OS X Mavericks you can mark senders as VIPs in "Mail". Emails from VIPs are then archived in a special mailbox. You can find out how to set this up under Mavericks in our practical tip.
Set sender as VIP under Mavericks
Mark particularly important senders as VIP so that you can find all mails in a special mailbox. Please follow the steps below:
- Start "Mail".
- Now open an email with a double click.
- Move your mouse pointer over the sender. A star symbol now appears here. By clicking on this symbol, the sender is designated as a VIP.
- Emails from VIPs can now be found in a special mailbox next to your standard mailbox.
- If you want to deactivate a VIP marking again, open an email from the VIP sender and then press the star symbol to deactivate the marking as VIP.
