OS X Mavericks: Switch Airplay audio output using the Finder menu bar
In OS X Mavericks, you can easily switch the Airplay audio output using the Finder menu bar. We show you how it works.
Switch Airplay audio output using the Finder menu bar
- Hold down the [Alt] key and click on the loudspeaker symbol on the right in the menu bar.
- Place a checkmark under "Output device" for your desired Airplay audio output device.
- If the loudspeaker symbol is not in your menu bar, you must first activate it: Open the "System Settings".
- Click on "Sound" and tick "Show volume in the menu bar". Then repeat the first two steps.
