Change time & date format under Mavericks
You can change the display format at any time under Mavericks. How to adapt important information to your own language and region.
- Open the system settings in your dock.
- Here you select the item "Language & Region".
- Now you determine your own region, the calendar type or the time format. You can also specify the sort order for the Finder.
- Now click on "More Options ..." to change the language format, currency or units of measure. Under "Date" you can even configure your own format profile for the date display.
- In the "Time" tab, you can define the format for the time.
- With "Restore defaults" you can reset the system settings.
