OS X Mavericks: Search a Bluetooth device
You can search external devices under OS X Mavericks via Bluetooth. The files found can then be viewed directly on your Mac. You can find out how this works in our practical tip.
Search Bluetooth devices on OS X Mavericks
Thanks to the system bar, you always have the option to search external devices for specific files. You can also move files from your Mac to your external device in the following ways:
- Click on the Bluetooth symbol in the top system bar (see picture).
- First select "Activate Bluetooth" and then "Search files on the device".
- Now a new window appears. Here you can select the device to be searched. Then click on "Browse".
- You can now double-click to open the files that your Mac identified.
- You can also drag and drop files from your Mac onto your Bluetooth device
