OS X Mavericks: Change iCloud settings
You can change the iCloud settings in OS X Mavericks via the system settings. This is how you determine the extent to which Mavericks programs and functions are loaded into your iCloud storage. In our practical tip you will learn how to do it.
Adjust iCloud settings on OS X Mavericks
You can individually determine how much information is loaded from your Mac under Mavericks into your iCloud storage. For example, you can determine whether bookmarks from Safari should also be available on your mobile devices via iCloud. You can also easily transfer reminders, notes and contacts to iPhone or iPad:
- Open the "System Settings".
- Click on "iCloud".
- Now you see a list with various elements. Here you can specify which files are loaded from your Mac into iCloud. For this you have to put a check mark next to the desired element (see picture).
- Under "Manage" you see an overview of your iCloud storage. Here you can also find, for example, the stored data from your mobile devices - for example emails, saved data from games or backups.
