OS X Mavericks: Allow access with Apple Remote Desktop

Activate Apple Remote Desktop under Mavericks
Apple Remote Desktop lets you manage multiple Macs on your network. To give your Mac access to this software, you need to do the following:
- Start the system settings in your dock.
- Here you select the item "Shares" and then press on the left side on "Remote Administration" (see picture). Also check the corresponding box.
- If access to Apple Remote Desktop should be allowed for all users of your Macs in your network, you have to activate the point next to "All users" (see picture). If only selected users should have access to the remote software, activate the item "Only these users" and then add the desired users by clicking on the plus symbol.
- Under "Options" you determine which functions should be activated for remote users. Here you can activate functions such as "Create reports", "Watch" or "Send text messages".
- Under "Computer Settings" you can set information for your Mac and you can set a password for VNC Viewer.
