Disable Outlook as the default program
If you do not want to open email addresses automatically with Outlook, you can deactivate it as a standard program. We show you the exact procedure in these instructions.
Disable Outlook as the default program
- First open the Control Panel and select the "Standard Programs" under the "Programs" category.
- If you then click on "Set standard programs", the list of all available options is loaded.
- Search for Outlook in the list on the left and select the entry.
- If you click on the button "Select standards for this program" in the lower right corner, you can revoke Outlook from all the required authorizations.
- Your settings are saved using the "Save" button.
