Outlook: insert picture into signature
With the e-mail service Outlook, inserting images into the signature is no problem. We show you how this works in this article.
1. Create signature with picture
- In the Outlook menu, click "Tools"> "Options".
- Select the Email Format> Signatures tab.
- In the next window you have to select the "New" button to create a new signature.
- In the right part of the window you can now select which mail account the signature should be linked to.
- Then click in the text field and then on the image icon. This is on the right above the text field.
- In the next window, select the desired image file and confirm with "OK".
- Now add the name, address, telephone number, etc. to the signature and then save by clicking "OK".
2. New email: use signature with picture
To use the signature you just created in an email, proceed as follows:
- Create a new email as usual.
- Select the saved signature in the menu bar at the top right by clicking on "Signatures".
- This now appears at the end of your message. Finally, select "Send" to send the email.
The steps describe the exact process under Outlook 2007, slight deviations are possible with other versions. Also read how to flag a follow-up email in Outlook.
