Outlook: Permanently delete emails
If you do not want to move your emails to the trash in Outlook, but want to delete them directly and permanently, all you need is a shortcut. We show you how to do this.
Outlook: Permanently delete emails
- To prevent you from accidentally deleting your emails, unwanted emails are first moved to the trash. If you no longer need an email, you can finally delete it.
- To do this, click the mail with the mouse and press the [Shift] + [Del] keys on your keyboard. You can find the [Shift] key at the bottom left above the [Ctrl] key.
- If you confirm the following dialog with "Yes", the mail will be permanently deleted.
