Outlook: Postpone series appointment - how it works
Appointments in Outlook can usually be moved quite easily. It is more difficult with series appointments. It often happens that only a single appointment is processed and not the entire series. We show you how to use Outlook 2010 and newer versions to reliably postpone your appointment series.
Outlook 2010 and newer: Postpone series appointments
- Open the Outlook calendar.
- Select a series appointment and open it.
- In the "Open series of appointments" dialog box that appears, click "Open the series".
- Confirm with OK".
- To postpone the appointment, click on the "Appointment series" tab.
- Click on "Options".
- Then click "Series Type".
- Change the desired option - for example the time or the date. To do this, click on the field provided and enter the change.
- Confirm with OK".
- Save the changes by clicking "Save and Close".
