Outlook: Create appointment from email - how it works
If you receive an invitation as an email from Outlook, you can create an appointment directly from it. We will show you how to do this here.
Outlook: Generate calendar appointment from email
- Once you have opened the mail, click on the "Move" button in the menu bar at the top and select the "Calendar" option.
- Alternatively, you can drag the closed message with the mouse onto the calendar symbol in the lower left corner of Outlook.
- Then a new window opens in which you can convert the email into an appointment. The former subject of the email is automatically the title of the appointment. Change the time and description.
- Use the "Save & Close" button to save the appointment in your calendar.
In the next practical tip, we will show you how to set up automatic forwarding in Outlook.
