You have ordered a package to a packing station, but you no longer need the goods? You can find out how to refuse acceptance in this practical tip.
Packstation: refuse acceptance - you have to be aware of that
A Packstation is helpful if you are not at home during the day. Your parcels are then simply delivered to the station. You can pick up your shipment there around the clock. However, if you no longer want the goods, you should note the following:
- A delivery is deemed to have been delivered as soon as you open the compartment in the packing station.
- If you do not want to accept the delivery, do not pick up the package.
- The shipment will be kept in the station for a total of nine calendar days. After the deadline, the package goes back to the sender.
If there is no Packstation near your home, you can have a DHL parcel box set up at home. In the next practical tip, read what costs are incurred and which package sizes you can receive with it.
