In this Mac guide, we show you how to insert page numbers from page 3 onwards.
Pages for Mac: page numbers from page 3
- In the Pages menu bar, click on "View" and there via "Info window" on "Document configuration".
- The right-hand display now shows the "Document" and "Section" tabs. At this point, select "Section".
- Do not check "Hide on first page", but select a numbering type under "Page numbering".
- In the document, scroll to page 2 and click on the page number. Select "Start new header / footer here (page 2)".
- Page numbers now only exist in your document from page 3. If you do not want to start numbering with "3", change the numbering under "Section".
- Instead of "Continuous", select "Start with 1".
