Rotate texts in Paint.NET
You cannot rotate text directly in Paint.NET. You have to take a detour through levels:
- In Paint.NET click on "Layers"> "Add New Layer" or use the key combination [Ctrl] + [Shift] + [N] to create a new layer.
- If the new level is not transparent, a practical tip will help you make the level transparent.
- Now choose the writing tool. You can show and hide the tools by clicking on [F5]. Write the text you want to rotate. With the help of our practical tips, you can even frame it or give it a shine.
- Then click on "Rotation zoom" under "Layer". Alternatively, use the shortcut [Ctrl] + [Shift] + [Z].
- In the "Tilt / Rotate" area, you can use the top slider to rotate the text clockwise and counterclockwise. By rotating the globe, you change the perspective on the text, rotating it as in three-dimensional space.
- You can then change the horizontal and vertical position in the "Move" area. Confirm your settings by clicking "OK".
