Panasonic: switch off subtitles - how it works

If subtitles are repeatedly displayed on your Panasonic TV, you can switch them off again with a short movement. We'll show you how it's done.
Switch off subtitles on the Panasonic TV
The following instructions refer to the use of the internal receiver. If you receive the TV signal via an external receiver, a different procedure may be necessary.
- Simply locate and press the button labeled "STTL" on the remote control. This turns the subtitle on and off for the hearing impaired.
- If that doesn't work, press the red button on the remote control. If you navigate to the current program, you can also deactivate the subtitle there.
- Exit the menu with the "Return" or "Exit" button. Press the "OK" button to switch the subtitle on again.
