PC Health Advisor: Is the Cleaning Tool Worth It?
The "PC Health Advisor" promises to combine numerous tools in one program. In this practical tip, we will tell you whether you should download the program or not.
PC Health Advisor: is it worth downloading?
At first glance, the program appears to be free of charge, but you need a license worth around 50 euros to use all functions. All functions are also available via freeware. You can save money with the following programs:
- Malware scanner: An additional virus scanner is normally not necessary because your installed anti-virus system such as Avast, AVG, Avira, Comodo or Bitdefender already protects you and also has a manual scanner. If you still want to install a second scanner, we advise you to use the free Malwarebytes Anti-Malware program.
- Defragmentation: A program for defragmenting the hard disk is not necessary under Windows. Windows has integrated such a function itself. We show you how to start a defragmentation yourself in the practical tip "Defragment Windows 7 hard drive - how it works".
- System Cleaner: You can easily find and remove junk files from various programs such as your browser and unnecessary registry entries with the free CCleaner.
