Put PC with CMD in sleep mode

If you use the CMD console under Windows, you can activate sleep mode or standby by command. We'll show you how it's done.
Put Windows to sleep using CMD
- Press the "Windows" and "R" keys simultaneously so that the "Execute" command opens. You can open the console using "cmd", but you don't have to.
- Now enter the command "rundll32.exe powrprof.dll, SetSuspendState" and confirm with the "Enter" key. Unfortunately there is no shorter command like shutdown.
- Note: If the hibernation is not activated in the power options, the PC is put into standby mode instead. We'll show you how to activate hibernation.
