PC monitor: the best mounts
The larger your PC monitor, the larger the holder and thus the wasted space on the desk. This can be remedied by a wall bracket with which the monitor practically hovers over the desk and can also be moved freely. In this tip, we present three good monitor mounts.
Ricoo R02-11 - practical wall mount for large monitors
The Ricoo bracket is attached to the wall and supports the monitor over a sturdy steel frame. Particularly practical: the monitor can be easily moved, rotated, tilted and pulled into the room. At Amazon you can find the bracket for currently around 18 euros.
- With 10 to 32 inches, the holder can also easily carry very large monitors (up to 32 kg). However, the monitor or television must have a VESA hole on the back, the maximum size is 100 x 100 mm.
- The minimum distance from the monitor to the wall is 6.8 cm. The monitor can be a maximum of 40 cm away from the wall.
- Practical: A spirit level is built into the holder, which is very useful when mounting on the wall - so you can see immediately whether the holder is hanging straight.
- Tip: To fix the monitor to the wall, you need to drill a few holes. But don't worry, with our drilling tips, hardly anything can go wrong.
M&G Techno W1 - swivel and tilt wall bracket
M&G Techno offers another bracket for only 7.90 euros on Amazon. The bracket works like the bracket from Ricoo, but is intended for somewhat smaller monitors. The bracket looks a bit unstable to the wall with only 2 screws.
- Monitors with sizes 10 to 30 inches can be attached to the bracket. A maximum weight is unfortunately not specified - but this should be well below the 32 kg of the stable bracket from Ricoo.
- The monitors are also attached via the VESA hole, the maximum size is 100 x 100 mm.
eSmart Germany TV - table holder for monitor
The bracket from eSmart Germany is attached to the table with a set screw. The monitor should still be freely movable and rotatable - however, the option of changing the height of the monitor is particularly practical. You can find the monitor holder for around 30 euros on Amazon.
- The table bracket is intended for much smaller and lighter monitors: Via the VESA hole (75 x 75 mm and 100 x 100 mm), screens with a size of 10 to 25 inches and a weight of up to 10 kg can be attached.
- The table top may have a maximum thickness of 8 cm. The set screw does not enclose thicker plates.
- Practical: The holder offers eyelets for the monitor cables, so your desk looks much tidier.
